Use this rubric as you create your Unit Plan to self-assess the quality of your brochure.

1. Introduction: Describe the scenario of the project
2011 is Visit Kelantan Year and you have just accepted a job as a journalist for an online Travellers magazine. You have been asked to design a brochure on alternative travellers guide to be highlighted on company’s web quest in June.
2. Task: Describe the task for the students to carry out
You will design a brochure using the resources both online and offline for alternative travellers guide.
Provide details of at least 2 new discoveries on using alternative travellers guide.
Add in details of places to visit to obtain these travellers guide.
You will present your brochure during an exhibition on Visit Kelantan Year 2011.
Evaluate your work using the brochure evaluation tool.
3. Resources: Include various resources for your students to obtain information. These may include websites, books, CDs, and others

4. Process: Explain the process, step-by-step
1. Select a brochure template
2. Select 2 types of travellers guide
3. Use online, books, and non-print resources to find the information needed to complete the brochure.

6. Be sure to include all of the information the readers will need.
7. Use the Brochure evaluation tool to guide your brochure design and information.
8. Present your brochure in an exhibition held during Visit Kelantan Year 2011
5. Evaluation: Use the brochure evaluation tool to evaluate the brochure. This same evaluation tool will be used by the teacher to evaluate your brochures.
6. Conclusion: Plan an exhibition during Visit Kelantan Year 2011 to display your brochures and explain the topic on Travellers guide.
